WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Permanent makeup is a tattoo on the face, it is called micro pigmentation as it involves the deposition of the pigment with very small, microneedles or blades into the dermal layer of the skin. The effect lasts from several months up to 5 years.

Every year to two years you should have a refreshment top-up, to keep the pigmentation looking perfect. There are two types of tools used for pigmentation: microblading tool and semi-permanent makeup digital machine.

HOW LONG DOES SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP APPOINTMENT TAKE?

Depending on the pigmented area, the treatment takes from 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

Your treatment begins with a discussion on the range of designs, shapes, and colours available. We will consider your skin tone, hair, and eye colour when choosing the colour for your permanent makeup.

We always custom mix colours for you individually, and keep a record of that for future treatments, so every time you come back for top-ups, we can mix up the exact colours again.

The safety of our patients is always our first priority at SW Permanent Makeup & Aesthetic. A confidential consultation is scheduled prior to semi-permanent makeup procedures in order to explain the process, answer any questions, and receive patient consent. 
You will also receive pre- and post-treatment advice, medical assessments, and photos (if agreed upon) to see the changes that have been made.

Is there any recovery time after treatment?

You can resume your regular day-to-day activities the same day you have semi-permanent makeup, as it is a non-surgical treatment. You can expect your eyebrows to heal in one to two weeks, and the pigment to settle in for another week or two.  As for work and social activities, you can get back to them pretty quickly.

How long can the treatment last for?

Treatment for Semi Permanent Makeup normally last between an hour to an hour and a half. When you visit us for the initial consultation, our team will make it very clear of what to expect during, before and after the treatment.  This is a non-surgical procedure and treatment is completed within the same of visiting our clinic.
